Bandura plant known as Nepenthes distillatoria is designed to catch insects because of the sweetness of the nectar of Bandura plant which is found in Sinharaja Forest and Samanala Mountain in Sri Lanka.

Insects are attracted to Bandura flower. It is located between 50 m. This flower got the name Bandura because of the pitcher-shaped insect trap. Although this trap is often called the "monkey flower", it is not really a flower. Bandura flower looks like a normal flower.

Insects are attracted to the flower and go inside it and when they are about to drink the flower nectar at the bottom of the bandura kendiya,

its walls are slippery and they are stuck and unable to come back out. Then again the insect falls to the bottom of the flower and dies. Then these insects are digested and the plant gets the nutrients it needs. These plants are also known as carnivorous plants. Educational facts can be known many things
