Diamonds are rare and precious to us living on Earth, but there are planets where diamonds fall from the sky.

One of them is Jupiter.

Jupiter is the biggest sphere in our solar system. This planet is filled with different gases and has a different weather than other planets.

As scientists have found, the percentage of carbon and methane in the atmosphere is very high.

As lightning strikes the carbonaceous atmosphere, they turn into graphite and fall on Earth. During the collapse, due to the stormy high pressure in the atmosphere, the hardness increases rapidly and they become diamonds.

It is the diamonds that fall as rain during the stormy rains that fall on Jupiter.
